At a July meeting of the joint commission in Minsk, the relevant agencies of the two countries agreed to transition to a digital format, SB.BY Belarus Segodnya reports. The Belarusian delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Transport Sergei Matsukov, and the Chinese delegation was led by Cai Tuanze, a representative of the Chinese Ministry of Transport.
The parties discussed the results of work for 2025 and the first half of 2026, noting the steady growth in freight traffic volumes. The main outcome of the meeting was the decision to sign a memorandum on the implementation of electronic permits for international road freight transport.
— Our Belarusian and Chinese colleagues agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding between their transport agencies on cooperation in the field of electronic permits for international road freight transport, — the press service of the Ministry of Transport noted.
The transition from paper forms ("dozvol") to e-Permits is a long-awaited step for businesses. Digitalization will free carriers from bureaucracy, solve the problem of physical document shortages, and significantly speed up cargo delivery.
