Belarus has approved quotas for the import of trucks at reduced recycling fee rates for 2026, according to Trans.ru. The corresponding resolution of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic was published on the National Legal Internet Portal.
However, certain vehicles—trucks meeting the Euro-5 and Euro-6 emission standards—were granted exemptions, with recycling fee rates remaining three times lower.
The same conditions will continue to apply in 2026. The quota for imported trucks will also remain the same:
➭ 300 units—for truck tractors meeting the Euro-5 emission standard;
➭ 700 units—for truck tractors meeting the Euro-6 emission standard.
To use the coupon, the carrier must submit an application to the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic. It must include specific information about the imported vehicle, delivery dates, and a general justification for the purpose of purchasing the truck.
For truck tractors with a maximum weight of 12 to 20 tons, the recycling fee is 30,043.91 Belarusian rubles, and for truck tractors with a maximum weight of 20 to 50 tons, it is 35,395.65 Belarusian rubles. This applies to vehicles manufactured no more than three years ago.
