Cargo turnover of Russian seaports in January - February 2024 amounted to 139.6 million tons, which is 1% lower than in the same period last year, TASS reports, citing information from the Telegram channel of Rosmorrechflot.
"The cargo turnover of Russian seaports in January - February 2024 amounted to 139.6 million tons, the volume of transshipment of dry cargo amounted to 67.2 million tons (+2%), bulk cargo - 72.4 million tons (-3.7%)," the message says.
The cargo turnover of the seaports of the Arctic basin decreased by 4.5% to 15 million tons, the Baltic basin - by 4% to almost 42 million tons, the Azov-Black Sea basin - increased by 3.5% to 46.2 million tons, the Caspian - by 1.5 times, reaching 1.4 million tons. The cargo turnover of the seaports of the Far Eastern basin amounted to 35.2 million tons (-3%).
