The Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce (IRTP) has suspended the mechanism of settlements in rubles for Italian goods that are not subject to sanctions due to the decision of the Italian Financial Security Committee. This is reported by TASS, referring to a statement by the press service of the chamber.
"By the decision of the Italian Financial Security Committee, they were forced to suspend the project [of a settlement mechanism in rubles]," the chamber said.
In February, the IRTP launched a payment mechanism in rubles for unauthorized Italian goods for its members in a test mode.
