Kazakhstan has officially consolidated the conditions for international freight carriers for another year. According to a new order from the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the rules permitting the transcoupling and transshipment of goods will remain in effect until January 1, 2027, reports BAMAP.
➥ Companies from EAEU countries are permitted to use a sequential transportation scheme with a tractor change or transshipment when delivering cargo to/from Kazakhstan. To do this, they must have the original domestic permit (or a detachable part of it) and a copy of the permit from the previous carrier.
➥ For carriers from countries outside the EAEU, transcoupling and transshipment are permitted only if they occur outside the territory of the Eurasian Union.
