At the beginning of the year, 27.7 thousand tons of citrus fruits were imported to Primorsky Krai from six countries of the world, the press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor reports.
The department notes that during the same period of 2022, Primorye received 19.5 thousand tons of these citrus fruits.
"In the last week alone, 3.3 thousand tons of mandarins from China and the Republic of Korea were imported to Primorye, of which 2.8 thousand tons came from China," the message says.
According to the Rosselkhoznadzor, since the beginning of the year, 23.1 thousand tons of mandarins from China have been processed through Primorsky phytosanitary posts (in 2022 – 14.4 thousand tons).
In addition, the Rosselkhoznadzor controlled the import of 1.8 thousand tons of tangerines from Pakistan, 1.7 thousand tons from the Republic of Korea, 0.6 thousand tons from Egypt, 0.3 thousand tons from South Africa and 0.2 thousand tons of tangerines from Argentina. It should be noted that in 2022, tangerines from Argentina were not received in Primorye, the press service reports.
All quarantined products have been approved for import by inspectors of the Primorsky Interregional Rosselkhoznadzor Administration based on the results of quarantine phytosanitary control.
