On the procedure for certification of batches of goods previously imported from the EAEU countries

Rosaccreditation informs that importers can re-issue a certificate for a batch of products if the validity of a foreign EAEU certificate has been terminated in Russia.

Procedure of actions:
1. Contact the Russian certification body.
2. Take samples (samples) for testing directly from the batch already imported into the Russian Federation.
3. The customs declaration for the import of samples is not required in this case, since the products are already in the country.

The new certificate will apply to the remains of the imported batch.

In other cases, when certifying imports, the import of samples must be confirmed by a customs declaration (Article 104 of the EAEU Customs Code). According to the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 936, the absence of documents for the import of samples is the basis for invalidating the certificate of conformity.
