Decision No. 84 of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission of September 23, 2025, "On the Introduction of Shipment Tracking in Accordance with the Agreement on the Application of Navigation Seals for Shipment Tracking in the Eurasian Economic Union of April 19, 2022, and on the Repeal of Certain Decisions of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission", will enter into force on February 1, 2026, reports the BAMAP Association.
According to the Decision, tracking of shipments of trackable items within the territories of two or more Eurasian Economic Union member states will be introduced in accordance with the Agreement within the timeframes specified in paragraph 6 of Article 18 of the Agreement. The Agreement provides for a phased implementation of tracking, taking into account the categories of goods and the modes of transport by which they will be transported.
The first stage will begin on February 11, 2026 (10 calendar days after the entry into force of the above decision).
The International Road Transport Union has prepared Reference Information on the Use of Navigation Seals for Shipment Tracking in the EAEU, which includes information on all stages of the tracking implementation.
