New rules designed to optimize logistics and reduce waiting times at the border will come into effect on April 1, 2026, according to the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus. According to the resolution signed by Alexander Turchin, truck drivers will be able to book their entry dates at road border crossing points in advance.
The booking service will be available online on the website of BELTAMOZHSERVIS, the operator of the electronic queue system. This will allow carriers to independently choose a convenient date and time, minimizing downtime and improving route planning.
A limit on the number of trucks whose entry dates can be booked per day will be set individually for each border crossing point. These limits will be agreed upon with the State Customs Committee (SCC) and the State Border Committee (SBC), taking into account the actual throughput capacity of specific checkpoints.
A fee of 31.5 base units per truck will be charged for registering in the electronic queue system and reserving an entry date.
