Polish authorities have decided to open the border with Belarus, BelTA reports. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced this. He stated that border crossings will resume normal operations in just a day and a half – at midnight local time between Wednesday and Thursday (1:00 a.m. Minsk time on September 25).
"I would like to inform you that we have decided to reopen the border crossings, rail crossings, and road crossings closed due to the Zapad exercises", - Tusk said before a government meeting.
This concerns the reopening of the Brest-Terespol and Kozlovichi-Kukuryki road crossings, as well as four rail crossings: Grodno-Kuznitsa Belostotskaya, Berestovitsa-Zubki Belostotskie, Svisloch-Semenovka, and Brest-Terespol. These were the crossings that were closed by the Polish side at midnight on September 12.
