International traffic at the Pokrovka (Khabarovsk Territory) - Zhaohe (PRC) mixed checkpoint resumed on December 21. Recall that the communication between the Pokrovka - Zhaohe checkpoints was suspended in November for the period of ice.
According to the Federal Customs Service of Russia, 696 Russian and Chinese passengers, 124.7 tons of export and 257.8 tons of imported goods have already been processed here. They are following through a pontoon crossing.
The ministry notes that 95% of imported goods are rice, and consumer goods were also imported. Exports are dominated by wooden sticks and wood chips.
