The active reconstruction of the Bugristoe automobile checkpoint (MAPP) continues in the Chelyabinsk Region, according to FGKU Rosgranstroy. The modernization of the facility is carried out within the framework of the national project «Efficient Transport System».
After the completion of the work, Bugristoe will become one of the most high-tech checkpoints on the Russian-Kazakh border.:
• Capacity: it will increase to 4,000 vehicles and 18,000 people per day (an increase of 2 and 2.5 times, respectively).
• Transport infrastructure: the number of lanes for traffic will increase from 12 to 36.
• Completion date: August 2028.
At the current stage, work is underway on the installation of facades and stained glass windows (pedestrian inspection point, boxes for vehicle inspection and a kennel for service dogs). In parallel, the interior decoration of the premises and the installation of all engineering systems (ventilation, air conditioning, water supply, communications and electricity) are carried out.
The implementation of the project will significantly reduce border crossing time and improve the quality of passenger and cargo carrier services.
