The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus has announced the extension of the ban on the import of certain goods across the Belarusian-Lithuanian border. The corresponding resolution was signed by Prime Minister Alexander Turchin.
This document amends Council of Ministers Resolution No. 182 of March 14, 2024, which restricts the movement of goods imported for sale in Belarus, regardless of their country of origin, through checkpoints on the Belarusian-Lithuanian border.
The ban has been extended until December 31, 2027; the list of prohibited goods remains unchanged.
Furthermore, in connection with the opening of the Bobrovniki (Berestovitsa) and Kuznitsa Belostotskaya (Bruzgi) checkpoints by the Polish side and the resumption of movement of trucks and tractor-trailers registered in EU countries across the Belarusian-Polish border, Council of Ministers Resolution No. 599 of October 31, 2025, expanded the list of refueling locations for vehicles corresponding to road checkpoints.
