Andrei Slepnev, Minister of Trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission, and Zhadamba Enkhbayar, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of Mongolia, announced the launch of the Temporary Trade Agreement between the EAEU and Mongolia, which was signed in June 2025, the press service of the EEC reports.
Following the meeting, the Eurasian Commission completed all the procedures necessary for the agreement to enter into force, and Mongolia has already completed its formalities.
This opens up new opportunities for cooperation, allowing customs duties on 367 items to be reset or reduced.
The agreement is valid for three years with the possibility of automatic renewal for another period and provides for a review of the terms after the first three-year period in order to simplify procedures and eliminate duties.
