The Starotsurukhaituysky border crossing on the border with China is temporarily switching to a 12-hour daily schedule.
Starting August 17, 2026, the Starotsurukhaituysky automobile border crossing, located in the Zabaykalsky Krai on the border with the People's Republic of China, will change its operating hours. According to Rosgranstroy, the crossing will switch to a 12-hour daily schedule: processing will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM local time, seven days a week.
The new operating hours are temporary and will be in effect for one month.
The temporary extension of the working day and the elimination of the days off are aimed at increasing crossing capacity during periods of increased demand, reducing the logistical burden on land corridors, and speeding up the passage of trucks.
Participants in foreign economic activity, cargo carriers, and travelers are strongly advised to plan their routes in advance and take the new schedule into account when calculating crossing times across the Russian-Chinese border.
