Ukrainian political analyst Dmitry Spivak said that Ukraine's financial losses from the blockade of Polish truckers on the border reach € 1 billion, RIA Novosti reports.
"Even if the road is opened immediately, the money will not be returned," he claims.
At the same time, Vladimir Balin, deputy president of the Association of International Road Carriers of Ukraine, said that the total losses of the republic from the Polish border blockade amounted to $ 400 million euros.
Recall that Polish carriers began blocking checkpoints on the border with Ukraine on November 6. There are currently more than 3 thousand trucks on the border of Poland and Ukraine. Polish carriers are demanding the return of the permit system for Ukrainian commercial carriers with exceptions for humanitarian aid.
