Resolution No. 147 of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus "On the Transportation of Passengers and Freight" dated March 31, 2026, has entered into force, according to the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus.
The document aims to improve the safety of road transportation and enhance the quality of public service.
Key changes affect freight transportation regulations:
➮ Trucks must be equipped with video recording systems and satellite navigation.
➮ When transporting timber, special devices must be used to prevent cargo shifting.
➮ Trucks and their trailers must have tarpaulins to protect roads from contamination.
➮ Drivers and carriers are now required to use these tarpaulins and conduct video recording of freight transport, saving the data throughout their shift.
