As part of the state program to improve the permitting system, a pilot National Carrier Rating has been launched, according to the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Currently, it includes 2,262 companies ranked according to the following criteria.
The main goals of the rating are:
➮ Ensuring transparency of information about national carriers providing reliable, safe, and high-quality services in international transportation and encouraging them;
➮ Reducing the share of the shadow economy in the industry and increasing the transparency of services provided;
➮ Creating a healthy competitive environment among national carriers and improving service quality.
The results are divided into three reliability levels:
➮ High reliability (60-100 points);
➮ Average reliability (40-59 points);
➮ Low reliability (below 39 points).
