The Chinese side supported the proposal of the Russian Federation to extend the round-the-clock operation on the cargo route of the Zabaikalsk checkpoint across the state border of the Russian Federation (on the Chinese side), the press service of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Rosgranstroy reports.
The checkpoint has been operating around the clock since May 15, 2023. During this time, the number of trucks issued per day has increased by more than 2 times.
The passenger direction of the MAPP Zabaikalsk will continue to operate from 8:00 to 20:00 local time.
Recall that since September 1, 2023, an electronic queue system has been operating in Zabaikalsk (https://rosgranstroy.ru/queue ) for freight transport. Thanks to the introduction of a digital service and the 24/7 operation of the checkpoint, live queues at the border have been eliminated.
