From January 1, 2024, the electronic queue waiting area in front of the Kozlovichi checkpoint will begin to function. This is provided for by the resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 31.12.2015 N°1130, according to the Customs authorities of Belarus.
According to the ministry, while the waiting area is designed for 140 cars, the number of parking spaces will be expanded.
"The necessary conditions have been created here for drivers to stay: electronic displays with information about the movement of the electronic queue have been installed, a store is open, sanitary zones are equipped. For security purposes, round-the-clock video surveillance is conducted," the Belarusian customs informs.
The waiting area is located in two places - on the rear platform of the Brest-Beltamozhservice-2 shopping mall and on the territory of the Severnaya parking lot.
Recall that this is the ninth checkpoint where such a system will be implemented. The functioning of the project is aimed at improving the procedure for passing vehicles across the border, creating comfortable conditions for staying at the customs border, the customs department of Belarus emphasizes.
