Belarus has introduced a fee for trucks from the EU upon their entry into the places of interception.
According to the resolution of the Council of Ministers dated 01/16/2024 No. 37., three basic values (120 rubles at the moment), including VAT, must be paid for the entry of one vehicle into the place of transshipment and transfer and accommodation in it during the first day.
The document comes into force on January 22, 2024.
In addition, the SCC Resolution No. 3 dated 05.01.2024 was published on the National Legal Internet Portal (also comes into force on January 22), which defines the form for calculating the fee and approves instructions on the procedure for filling it out. Brest, Vitebsk and Grodno regional customs offices are authorized to register the calculation of the fee.
