A special procedure for importing goods from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to Russia will be in effect until December 10, 2025, Trans.ru reports.
The corresponding decree, signed by the Russian President, has already entered into force. Specifically, it permits the import of goods without documents confirming their status as EAEU goods, as well as without labeling.
However, the following conditions must be met:
- the goods are imported for a Russian legal entity;
- the carrier must have a notification issued by the recipient to the Russian customs authority regarding the obligation to declare the goods in accordance with current customs legislation;
- the recipients send the goods, namely: their transportation to the temporary storage warehouse and their placement there; they notify the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade of their legal form and Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) for the purpose of labeling the imported goods; Product labeling, temporary storage warehouse façade; goods declaration and other operations until December 27.
However, according to the Decree, these simplified import conditions do not apply to certain goods.
