FGKU Rosgranstroy continues the active phase of reconstruction of Zabaikalsk, the largest automobile checkpoint on the Russian-Chinese border. The work is being carried out as part of the implementation of the new national project «Efficient Transport System», which aims to develop key international transport corridors.
To date, the main stage of construction and installation work has been deployed at the construction site. Specialists plan the territory, carry out excavation work, arrange the foundations of future buildings and structures, as well as lay modern engineering networks and communications.
• The capacity will increase by 5.5 times and will amount to 2,400 vehicles per day (1,600 of them are trucks).
• The number of traffic lanes will increase from 17 to 28, which will allow for the separation of traffic flows and minimize control time.
The updated checkpoint will significantly speed up the delivery of goods, eliminate queues at the border and ensure the growing trade turnover between Russia and China.
