From September 1 to 29, 2026, Rosgranstroy will conduct scheduled road and sidewalk repairs at the Sagarchin checkpoint (Orenburg Region, Russian-Kazakh border).
During the repairs, traffic through the checkpoint will be organized in a reverse mode (traveling alternately in the remaining lanes). This alternate mode will significantly slow down border processing, so congestion and longer queues are possible at the border.
Please take this restriction into account when planning your trips and allow additional time for border crossing. If possible, use alternative checkpoints.
