A Unified Register of Freight Forwarders will be established in Belarus. According to Presidential Decree No. 357 of October 13, 2026, a special state information resource will be created in the country by April 1, 2027, according to the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus.
The Transport Inspectorate of the Ministry of Transport has been appointed its owner and operator.
The register will contain information on all Belarusian freight forwarders, including the personal information of individuals. The document clearly defines the requirements for market participants, the procedure for including information in the register, and the conditions for suspending or removing it if violations are detected. A state fee of 10 and 1 base unit, respectively, is set for adding information to the database and updating it.
The main innovation is that, starting September 1, 2027, legal operation in the Belarusian freight forwarding market will be possible only with mandatory inclusion in this register. The new measure is intended to streamline and increase transparency in the domestic transportation market.
