Starting January 1, 2026, the customs declaration will include the declarant's obligation to provide the original certificate of origin, according to the Alta-Soft Customs Portal.
By Decision No. 104 of the EEC Board dated November 17, 2025, the Procedure for Completing Columns by the Declarant (Subclause 42, Clause 15 of the Procedure for Completing the Declaration of Origin), approved by Decision No. 257 of the Customs Union Commission dated May 20, 2010, was amended.
According to the amendments, in Column 44. "Additional Information/Submitted Documents" of the declaration, if it is possible to submit the original certificate of origin after registering the declaration, the "3" code is also entered, followed by a space, followed by a note regarding the declarant's obligation to submit the original certificate of origin, indicating the date of submission.
The decision comes into force on January 1, 2026.
