The first batch of citrus fruits from Iran arrived via the international North-South corridor by sea, the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation reports.
For the first time in the last two years, the largest shipment of citrus fruits weighing more than 180 tons has arrived in Russia directly by sea via the North-South MTC, the FCS reports. Previously, such deliveries were carried out by rail and motor transport through Azerbaijan.
It is clarified that special refrigerated containers are used for the transportation of perishable goods, which maintain the necessary temperature regime.
