A three-party agreement on the creation of a "single digital corridor" on the China-Kazakhstan-Russia route was signed in Astana. This was reported in the Kazakh National Welfare Fund Samruk-Kazyna JSC, TASS writes.
The document was signed between JSC Slavtrans-Service, Xi'an Free Trade Port Construction and Operation Co., Ltd. and JSC KTZ Express, the press service of the fund clarified.
The agreement was signed in Astana as part of a meeting of the Kazakh-Chinese Business Council. In general, following the results of the event, more than 40 documents worth over $ 3.7 billion were signed, the report says.
Earlier, the national company Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ, Kazakhstan Railways) announced the upcoming signing of an agreement on a unified digital platform (ECP) for container transportation at the Kazakh-Chinese Business Council between Russia, China and Kazakhstan.
According to KTZ, the ECP will become an integrated strategic system that combines the processes of customs clearance, electronic commerce and other functions. The company noted that this will significantly simplify logistics, promote the development of electronic commerce, simplify customs procedures, reduce trade barriers, increase transparency and efficiency of supply chains.
