The Russian government has approved a resolution amending the rules for the electronic queue system for trucks at border crossing points, according to the Trans.ru platform.
Effective March 1, 2026, the list of circumstances for temporarily blocking a carrier from the electronic queue will change:
• In the event of two consecutive cancellations within a month for the same vehicle, or nine cancellations within a month for all vehicles registered to the carrier;
• In the event of two consecutive failures within a month for the same vehicle, or four failures within a month for all vehicles registered to the carrier.
However, the right to reschedule an already reserved border crossing date and time will be granted only once per month.
The adopted resolution also clarifies the procedure for changes to the system:
• the reservation request will also require the make, model, color, and VIN of the truck (tractor, trailer/semi-trailer), along with the vehicle registration certificate itself;
• restrictions are being introduced for reserving a place in the electronic queue: reservations for the same vehicle can only be made from one personal account.
