In 2023, Russia exported agricultural products by almost 3.9 trillion rubles, which is a historical record for the industry. This was announced by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at a strategic session on Tuesday in Moscow, Interfax writes.
"Moreover, the share of friendly countries in supplies has approached 90%," he said.
According to him, the volume of concessional loans issued to expand the production of agricultural products exceeded 800 billion rubles.
As reported, according to the Ministry of Agriculture, in 2023, exports of agricultural products amounted to more than $45 billion against $41.6 billion in 2022. The department expects that according to the results of the calculation, this figure will be even higher.
