Kazakhstan plans to introduce an electronic queue at seven more checkpoints on the border with Russia, the State Revenue Committee reports.
The ministry recalled that since November 1, 2023, an electronic queue system has been used at the Bidaik automobile checkpoint (North Kazakhstan region) on the Kazakh-Russian border. Thanks to the electronic queue, the efficiency and transparency of border crossing is ensured, clusters of trucks are excluded, the department emphasizes.
It is also noted here that the introduction of an electronic queue is positively assessed by carriers – since the beginning of the introduction of an electronic queue at the Bidaik checkpoint, more than 1 thousand trucks have been booked.
In this regard, the Kazakh authorities plan to apply an electronic queue at 7 more automobile checkpoints on the border with the Russian Federation:
starting from January 15, 2024, the Karashatau (Aktobe region) and Zhezkent (Abai region) checkpoints;
from January 31, 2024, the checkpoints "Ube" (East Kazakhstan region) and "Aksai" (West Kazakhstan region);
starting from February 15, 2024, the checkpoints "Ubagan" (Kostanay region) and "Naiza" (Pavlodar region);
from April 30, 2024, the Kurmangazy checkpoint (Atyrau region).
In this regard, carriers planning to leave the territory of Kazakhstan through the specified automobile checkpoints need to book a place in the electronic queue through the "CarGoRuqsat" application.
