FESCO Transport Group (parent company - PJSC Far Eastern Shipping Company, DVMP) has delivered a second vessel to work on the regular FESCO Indian Line West (FIL-W) line connecting the Indian ports of Mundra and Navasheva with Novorossiysk along the route through the Suez Canal, Interfax reports, citing a statement from the company.
FESCO Olga made its first ship call at the Indian port of Navasheva on January 29.
It is noted that the total container capacity of the FIL-W marine service will exceed 1.7 thousand TEU, the frequency of shipments will increase to twice a month.
The line operates along the Nava-Sheva - Mundra - Novorossiysk route and in the opposite direction. The transit time from the ports of India to Russia is about 16 days.
The basis of the cargo flow of the service in the imported direction is made up of construction materials, various chemicals, food and refrigerated goods. The export includes products of the Russian timber industry and agricultural goods.
