Starting from October 1, 2026, the rules for notification of the import of traceable goods from the EAEU will change, Alta Soft informs.
The Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 06/08/2026 No. 709 was adopted, which corrects the procedure for working with the national traceability system for imports from the EAEU countries.
The main changes from October 1, 2026:
• It is now necessary to notify the Federal Tax Service of the import of traceable goods from the EAEU within 5 working days from the date of their registration.
• The five-day notice period does not apply to goods imported into the territory of the Russian Federation under the SPOT.
• The rules for correcting information about the quantity and cost of a traceable product in previously submitted notifications have been adjusted.
Importers are advised to set up accounting systems (including 1C) in advance to meet the new rules and instruct accounting and logistics staff.
