Starting from February 1, the Ivangorod checkpoint on the border with Estonia will be temporarily closed for reconstruction in all directions except pedestrian, the Customs Committee of the Russian Federation reports.
The Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 3099-r on this was signed on November 3, 2023.
The opening hours of the MAPP Ivangorod customs post of the Kingisepp customs remain the same – daily, around the clock (as well as the adjacent Narva checkpoint), the message says.
The nearest checkpoints to the Ivangorod checkpoint on the Russian-Estonian section of the state border are the Shumilkino CHECKPOINT (adjacent Luhamaa) and Kunichina Gora Checkpoint (Koidula) in the Pskov Customs region. These points also work 24/7, the agency informs.
The message emphasizes that when choosing routes to cross the border with Estonia, it is necessary to take into account the nature of the goods being transported. Animals, animal products, feed, feed additives, medicines for animals and quarantined products cannot be imported into Russia through the Kunichin Mountain MAPP.
