Starting from June 1, 2026, the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan introduces mandatory electronic registration of waybills and waybills in the Unified Transport Document Management System (ESCM).
This innovation will affect all market participants engaged in truck transportation with vehicles weighing over 3.5 tons. Now the registration and registration of these documents in the system will become a mandatory requirement.
This norm was fixed back in 2020 by amendments to the Order of the Minister of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 546 dated April 30, 2015. Previously, to support business and complete technical improvements to the system, the application of this standard was advisory in nature.
Administrative liability will be provided for the absence of registration, non—registration of documents or entry of false information in accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 571-1 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses - a fine of about 260 thousand tenge.
