At a meeting held today, October 29, the Lithuanian government decided to close vehicle border crossings with Belarus until November 30, 2025.
The conditions in effect since October 27 remain: traffic through Šalčininkai/Benyakoni has been completely suspended, while Medininkai will continue to accept vehicles and passengers who qualify for exceptions, according to the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
Only two trucks were able to cross into Lithuania through the Belarusian Kamenny Log border crossing today, within the established restrictions.
It is still unclear whether trucks will be allowed through the Medininkai/Kamenny Log crossing, even in limited numbers, until November 30.
