AMAP told about the conditions for passing weight and size control at the MAPP Zabaikalsk customs post.
According to the association, there are complexes for automatic determination of weight and dimensional characteristics of cargo vehicles (hereinafter referred to as VGKA) located in the direction of "Entry into the Russian Federation" directly behind the state border crossing line in the right lane, as well as in the direction of "Exit from the Russian Federation" after entering the security zone of the checkpoint near building No. 13 on in the right lane.
All vehicles carrying out international cargo transportation must pass through the VGKA, with the exception of oversized vehicles.
The passage of weight and size control at the customs post of the MAPP "Zabaikalsk" of the Chita customs must be carried out in compliance with the following conditions:
1) Overall dimensions of the vehicle – no more than 22 meters in length, no more than 3 meters in width, no more than 4.5 meters in height. The total weight of the vehicle is up to 80,000 kg.* If the specified characteristics are exceeded, the vehicle must move on the left side of the road without entering the VGKA.
2) The passage of vehicles through the weight and size complex is carried out WITHOUT STOPPING at a green traffic light at a speed of 5 km/h;
3) The state registration plates of the vehicle must be clean and properly installed.
This information should be taken into account when planning transportation.
* Driving on highways on heavy vehicles, the mass of which with or without cargo and (or) the axle load of which exceeds the permissible vehicle weight and (or) the permissible axle load by more than 10%, and (or) on large vehicles without special permits is prohibited.
