1,440 trucks are waiting to enter Lithuania. The adjacent control services allowed 23% of trucks from the norm to enter their territory during the day. The busiest route in this direction still passes through Shalchininkai (Benyakoni), the State Customs Committee of Belarus reports.
There are 590 trucks registered in front of the only functioning Latvian Paternieki checkpoint (Grigorovshchina). 52% of cars entered Latvia through this border crossing.
About 800 passenger cars are waiting to enter the EU before all Lithuanian border crossings and Polish Terespol (Brest). Polish control services accepted only 37% of the transport on their territory, Lithuanian — 57%.
