More than 3,450 vehicles are expected to enter EU countries. Since the beginning of the week, the number of trucks waiting to enter Poland has increased by 350 units. The queue has not changed significantly in the Lithuanian and Latvian directions, the press service of the State Customs Committee of Belarus reports.
Neighboring countries continue to create a collapse at the border, slowing down the registration of transport. About 3.5 thousand trucks and cars are expected to enter the European Union, the agency informs.
The control services of the Polish border crossing Kukuryki (Kozlovichi) allowed about 45% of trucks from the norm to enter their territory every day, and about 30% of the Lithuanian checkpoints Myadininkai (Kamenny Log) and Shalchininkai (Benyakoni). In the Latvian border crossing of Paternieki (Grigorovshchina), 45% of cars have been allowed to enter the EU since Monday.
Since the beginning of the week, the queue of passenger vehicles has increased by 105 units to enter Lithuania and Poland. Polish Terespol (Brest) remains the busiest route in the EU for passenger cars. Currently, 480 passenger cars are expected to enter Poland in front of the specified checkpoint, and the rate of compliance with the norm at the control services of Terespol since Monday turned out to be the lowest among all checkpoints — about 36%.
Before Terespol (Brest), 25 buses are fixed to enter Poland.
