According to the electronic queue, as of Tuesday evening, 3,033 trucks were registered to leave Russia towards Georgia. This is reported by INTERFAX.RU .
Recall that since November 26, travel along the Georgian Military Road has been temporarily restricted for trucks due to bad weather on the territory of Georgia.
Carriers stuck at the border are carrying goods from Georgia, Turkey, and Armenia. Their losses, according to a large logistics company, due to downtime are estimated on average at € 600-700 per day per heavy cargo, Vedomosti writes.
The Georgian Military Road is currently the only land route connecting Georgia and Armenia with Russia.
It is reported that the passage for trucks will be restored after the weather conditions improve.
