The State Customs Committee draws attention to the new version of the current Council of Ministers Resolution No. 311 of May 25, 2020, «On the Use of Navigation Devices (Seals)».
Resolution No. 688 of the Council of Ministers of November 28, 2025, has been published on the National Legal Portal.
The new version of the document, which will continue to monitor shipments in the current manner, will enter into force 10 days after its official publication.
«Navigation devices (seals) are mandatory for the import of goods by road from the territories of the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania, and the Republic of Poland into the Republic of Belarus, as well as for empty international road vehicles registered in the European Union», — states the document, published on the national legal internet portal on Wednesday.
Seals are also used to ensure the transportation of goods under customs control, as an alternative to customs escort in cases established by the EAEU Customs Code.
