The Kraskino automobile cargo and passenger border crossing point, located on the border with China, will open in Primorsky Krai after reconstruction, according to the Russian Government press service. A corresponding order has been signed.
The main buildings and auxiliary structures necessary for state control have been completed at the border crossing point. Traffic will be temporarily reopened for the time being.
After all work is completed in the first quarter of 2027, the crossing point's capacity will be 750 vehicles per day. 16 lanes will be open to traffic, 10 of which will be designated for trucks.
The order was prepared in accordance with the current law on the state border of Russia, according to which the opening of crossing points before the completion of all construction work is permitted by a government act.
