Poland has expanded the list of cargoes subject to mandatory monitoring in the SENT system, according to the Transinfo Freight Portal. According to a decree of the Ministry of Development and Finance, the corresponding amendments were made to the Law "On the Road Freight Transport Monitoring System" of March 9, 2017.
The new rules apply to various types of vegetable oils (soybean, sunflower, olive, rapeseed, etc.) classified by PKVU codes (10.41.21–10.41.29, 10.41.51–10.41.60, 10.62.14) and TN VED (1507–1516, as well as 1517, except margarine).
SENT registration requirements:
➭ cargo weight over 500 kg or volume over 500 liters.
➭ individual packaging exceeds 26 kg or 26 liters.
The following are exempt from the system:
➭ postal items;
➭ goods subject to customs procedures (transit, export, temporary import, etc.);
➭ products with suspended excise duty;
➭ small quantities in packages up to 26 kg/liter.
