According to the results of 2023, Russia retained its position as the main supplier of agricultural products to Turkey, the Agroexport center reports with reference to ITC Trade Map data.
According to the center, last year Turkey purchased more than $24 billion worth of agricultural products abroad. Almost 22% came from Russia, 13% from Ukraine, and 9% from Brazil.
In particular, Russia is the leader among exporters of wheat (by $2.7 billion), corn ($471 million), peas ($89 million). In addition, Russia is among the top 3 suppliers of vegetable oils ($516 million) to the Turkish market, the report says.
