Almost 240 tons of silver acacia, better known as mimosa, have been exported from Abkhazia to Russia since February 1. This is reported by TASS, referring to information from the press service of the State Customs Committee of Abkhazia.
"From February 1 to March 5, 2024, 238.6 tons of mimosa were exported. During the same period last year, 240.5 tons were exported," said the spokeswoman of the Committee of the Beginning of the Chkadua.
Abkhazia is the largest supplier of mimosa in the Russian Federation. It is traditionally exported from the end of January to March 8.
