Among the key Brazilian imports to Russia are soybeans, coffee, tobacco raw materials and frozen meat, TASS reports.
Russia and Brazil will develop logistics routes independent of intermediaries from third countries. The need for such a measure was announced today by Vladimir Ilyichev, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, during a speech at SPIEF 2024.
"An important factor for further increasing bilateral trade flows is the establishment of stable logistics routes independent of intermediaries from third countries. We suggest that the Brazilian side work together on this issue," he said.
Ilyichev recalled that among the key Brazilian imports to Russia are soybeans, coffee, tobacco raw materials and frozen meat. Brazil's share in Russian imports of soybeans was over 80%. Fertilizers have been a key export item to Brazil for many years.
