The Rosselkhoznadzor and the State Inspection Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan discussed a fourfold increase in the supply of sanctioned pears from Kazakhstan. Sputnik Kazakhstan writes about this, referring to information from the Russian department.
"The Russian service expressed concern about the identification of cases of importation of sanctioned products into the territory of Russia through Kazakhstan originating from unfriendly countries," the message says.
The deliveries, the Rosselkhoznadzor added, are carried out in violation of the ban on the import of agricultural products, raw materials and food, the country of origin of which are unfriendly states, which has been in force since 2014.
The reason for concern, the ministry added, was the recorded early cases of movement of plant products – pears originating from Poland, pistachios and almonds from the United States, intended for transit.
The Agency appealed to Kazakh colleagues with a request to provide information on the places of sale of sanctioned pears and documents confirming the conduct of quarantine phytosanitary control in the republic.
