According to the customs authorities of Belarus, there are still long queues at the border with the EU.
Lithuanian remains the busiest destination. There are 1,600 trucks waiting to enter the adjacent territory. The control services of the Myadininkai checkpoint (Kamenny Log) have accepted only 16% of trucks from the norm into their territory over the past day, the agency informs.
Delays in the registration of heavy trucks are also recorded in the Latvian Paternieki (Grigorovshchina). 45% of trucks entered the EU via this route.
In addition, a significant accumulation of passenger transport is recorded in front of the Polish checkpoint Terespol (Brest) — 300 cars. 70 and 20 cars, respectively, are waiting for entry before the Lithuanian border crossings Shalchininkai (Benyakoni) and Myadininkai (Kamenny Log).
There are 35 buses waiting to enter Poland before the Terespol (Brest) checkpoint. During the day, the Polish side received only 67 out of 170 buses, which is 39% of the norm.
