The National Legal Internet Portal has published the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of August 27, 2025, No. 462 on extending the ban on import of certain goods through the Belarusian-Lithuanian section of the state border.
The ban on the movement of certain goods through checkpoints on the Belarusian-Lithuanian border, imported for sale in Belarus, regardless of their country of origin, has been extended until April 1, 2026.
The ban on import of certain goods through the Belarusian-Lithuanian section of the state border applies to the following goods: water, beer, wine, grape must, vermouth, other fermented beverages, ethyl alcohol, vinegar, used tires and pneumatic rubber tires, clothing and other used products, as well as used parts and accessories of vehicles.
Such a ban is a forced measure of the Belarusian side to ensure the protection of national interests and respond to the unfriendly actions of Lithuania.
