China, Turkey and India became Russia's main trading partners in 2023. This was stated by the acting head of the Federal Customs Service (FCS) at a briefing for journalists during the final board of the department, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.
"These are China, Turkey and India, and then there are the EAEU countries, Kazakhstan and the Republic of Belarus," he said, answering a question from a newspaper journalist.
He added that "we have a fairly balanced foreign trade, unlike many countries":
"We have a healthy trade balance. We have an excess of exports over imports of about 30-35% for the most part," he concluded.
